Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using LeaseGuardian.AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the Service.

Description of Service

LeaseGuardian.AI provides an AI-powered lease analysis tool that reviews residential lease agreements for potential risks and compares them to the standards set by the British Columbia Residential Tenancy Act (RTA). Features include:

• Automated document parsing and clause analysis
• Identification of potential compliance issues
• Risk assessments and general recommendations
• Downloadable lease analysis reports

User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, lawful, and relevant documents
• Use the Service only for its intended and lawful purpose
• Not upload documents containing malicious code or unauthorized content
• Not infringe on intellectual property rights
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the Service infrastructure

You must not:

• Share or resell your account access
• Use the Service to violate any law or regulation
• Upload documents that contain personal information about others without their consent
• Intentionally overload the Service with excessive requests

Legal Disclaimers

LeaseGuardian.AI provides general information and automated document analysis. The Service:

• Does not provide legal advice
• May not identify all legal risks, issues, or omissions
• May not reflect real-time changes in legislation
• Is applicable only to British Columbia tenancy law unless otherwise noted

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service—including the software, design, branding, and text—are the property of LeaseGuardian.AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any documents you upload. By uploading them, you grant LeaseGuardian.AI a limited license to use, analyze, and process them strictly for the purpose of providing the Service.

Payment Terms

• One-time use: $15 CAD per full lease analysis
• Subscription: $19/month or $99/year (CAD) for unlimited usage
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Refunds are offered at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure or duplicate charges

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeaseGuardian.AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or legal disputes arising from use or misuse of the Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to LeaseGuardian.AI or its users.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
